Hello, everyone, I am in the England , After successsful granted visa on 17/April, I went here by myself. I am in the University of Nottingham now, and i will still have my postgraduate course here too, I am here talking about some things that you should take care before you come to England.

1. The transportaion fee is high, I took a train from London to Nottingham, it cost me 32 pounds, so , you'd better take some cash with you!

2. When you come to England, you should find someplace to buy a cheap phonecard when i arrived England, I phoned back to my home,1 pound can only talk about 30 seconds, but , some phone card can be bought here, it just took about 15 pence/mintue to china.

3. The first thing you should do is check the date of England, if they are in the holiday when you arrive, I think you can do nothing, all the shops and offices will be closed during the holiday!. When you arrive, find your dormity as soon as possible.

4. It will take about 1 week to open an account(student account), so, you'd better take some cash to use in this weeek. battery is very expensive here, about 1 pound/one battery, so , do some prepration in china.

5. I am living in the hall of university, it contains breakfast lunch and dinner it took about 600 pounds/2 months. if you live outside , you must cook yourself but cheaper than school. my advise is that take as much as you can to come here, because you will feel it's expensive in every aspect you could meet! most people here are kind, they are warm-hearted and easily to get help from, don't forget to say excuse me first and don't want to say thank you see u after his help. they will be very happy! a famous chinese pingpang player deng ya ping is in my university now, she is in the same computer room with me now, i think you can get her signture easily here in U of nottingham, hehehe.
